I wasn't sure where to put this. It's not literature, but it's not hard parts either. Anyway, I'm posting this for someone on another message board and he is selling a rather large painting. It kills me that I don't have room for this but I wanted to pass it along so someone here might give it a good home. Send him an email. His name is Dave.
This is a 40x48 canvas done in the 80's by Solbrook Display in Burbank. They are the ones who do (or did) the huge paintings of the covers of newly released albums on the roof of Tower Records on Sunset Blvd. I had this done from a photograph of my step father-in-law in front of "his" bomber the Butterfly Baby that he flew in WWII, This was done for his birthday sometime in the eighties. He's passed away now and no one seems to have any interest in hanging a nude in their home in liberal Mississippi. I think it is done in acrylic. although I'm no expert. It has been in storage for years and has a couple of "bug spot" type stains that I will have an artist friend clean.
I will bring to Pate for no shipping charge (must be paid for in advance, though) or I will drop it off at the UPS store and let them package it at your expense-actual cost only, no hidden handling charges.

Money order (Postal) or Paypal, your choice.
