Edward and Trevor, Thank you for the ID on this part. We have 6 1/2 feet of the front section of the door. The remaining portion was sheared off in the accident. This section is has minor damage. The construction of this door with the small ribs inside the skin reflect the skills of the aircraft plant workers of that day. Everytime I see aircraft engines and airframe parts from that time period I am proud of the engineers and aircraft workers that mfg the parts and the final assembling. Phillip |
