Post subject:  WTB WWII Radio Jack Box J-37 AIA-1A Help

Wanted: WWII Radio Jack Box J-37-AIA-1A or J-37 AIA-1A. These were used with the HS-33 Headset in Glider aircraft and possibly other applications. The box is fairly small about 2"x2"x2" and could power several headsets at the same time. I need two. If you have any or know where I can find some drop me a PM or email. I've already tried Fair Radio and they don't have any. Thanks - Van

Van,

Are you sure about that part number? J-37 is a telegraph key that was used in many Army and Air Force ground and airborne applications from WW2 through the 1960s. I have a couple of J-37 keys in my hamshack.

Cheers!

From the parts manual it states J-37-AIA-1A. From another source it states J-37/AIA-1A. It is a jack box that supports 3 HS-33 Headsets and 1 T-17B Microphone. You are correct there is a J-37 Morse Code Key....and none were used in the CG-4A or CG-15A glider.
