ww 2 u.s. navy portable oxygen rebreathing apparatus for aircraft use - issued to aircraft that usually operated at low altitude where oxygen wasn't normally needed, but this unit was carried just in case to allow short term high altitude breathing to avoid enemy aircraft, inclement weather etc. item measures 13 inches high x 8 1/4 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches deep. marked d model mark 3. no oxygen tank or mask present, not hard to find items. comes with canvas oxygen mask storage bag. used in most multi crewed navy aircraft, but heavily used in larger maritime patrol aircraft, such as pby catalina, martin mariner, pb4y pbj aircraft. great condition. sold as an aviation antique only. no guarantee as to operational safety use. great accessory for museum or private navy warbird restoration. $200.00 +shipping. email me for additional info or pictures. thanks, tom
