Post subject:  CURTISS V12's and HALL-SCOTT Engines

My late friend, and long time neighbor, was a consummate collector and restorer of all things automotive and aviation related. I have been asked by his wife to assist in finding good homes for a number of items in his collection which included a number of vintage aircraft engines.

Engine #1. Curtiss V12 Aircraft Engine, Model: D-12
This engine is in excellent, if not overhauled, condition. This engine is essentially complete except for valve covers, magnetos and carburetors. The engine is secured to a custom fabricated steel engine stand with steel casters.

Engine #2. Curtiss V12 Aircraft Engine, Model: D-12
This engine is basically a complete bottom end; consisting of the crankcase, oilpan, crankshaft, rods, pistons, accessory case, cam drive assemblies, and high tension harness. The engine is secured to substantial timber frame cradle.

Engine #3. Hall-Scott Airplane Engine, Model: A-7-A
This engine is very good condition, essentially complete and has been converted for marine use with "The Capitol" Marine Conversion by Auto Engine Works of St Paul, MN. The engine is secured to a custom fabricated steel engine stand with steel casters.
