Our museum has a DH-4M2A under restoration now. The Liberty that came with the project was complete and low time but needed an overhaul. Liberty parts are really hard to find. Most of the engines we have located are former marine engines that were modified for use in boats. The vintage boat folks have most of the parts but few of them are willing to sell anything. If they have any aircraft Liberty parts, they usually want to trade, not sell. I wish I could offer more help but apparently Liberty engines were made of a special alloy called Unobtainium.
