Interesting photo. As usual, I have seen parts for this IFF transponder in my pile of turret parts from Emerson Electric but I don't recall if I've see this exact box. More likely, the turret electronics shared parts with other electronic gadgets that were on WWII era aircraft but it would be interesting to know what the data plate says on the side. Who made the box?
