Can you identify what aircraft this 6 pack might be from?

Thu Aug 27, 2020 4:06 pm

Hello,

Wondering if I may use this wealth of knowledge to try and identify what type of aircraft this 6 pack might have been used in or its approximate age? It is stamped on the back S 8044 0 - A and has an inverted triangle with LL 1 in it. The curved top right corner is a smaller diameter curve than that of the top left corner.

I know the instruments may have been changed over time and not necessarily the original ones in this unit, but the Airspeed indicator is made by US Gauge Co NY AD 7369-A, Artificial Horizon made by SPERRY GYROSCOPE NY AN5376-1, the VSI made by KOLLSMAN Instrument Company Elmhurst NY with 614K-02-2100, the Altimeter also made by KOLLSMAN with 528-03-1170, the Directional Gyro also made by SPERRY GYROSCOPE NY Part No 643715 , the Turn and Bank indicator with by PIONEER on the face (Bendix Aviation Corporation Philadelphia Division on the back plate with serial and Type no 1718-1A-A1).

Thanks if you can provide any information,

Looks like a standard blind flying panel, so could be one of many.
