B-24 fuel selector valve eliminating the fuel valve problem in the T-6, $295 shipped. natrainer@aol.com,

This installation is only one suggestion to the problem with the current G-2 valve.
It can be done at a minimal cost and the fix is "absolute". This valve is 100% better than the original valve. Existing fuel lines are used, no extra lines are needed.
Additional hardware is needed: 3 adapters, 2 45 degree fittings, and one pipe plug. Also, an extension of the 1/4" tube between the selector and selector transmission was needed. Other than that, all original hardware was retained.
This valve eliminates the left tank reserve position but makes full use of all useful fuel in both tanks.
Positioning will be as follows: LEFT, BOTH, RIGHT, OFF. The "BOTH" position should be placarded "DO NOT USE" only because simple installation engineering does not account for parts needed for a low wing aircraft to incorporate the "BOTH" feature. ie: header tank, secondary fuel pump and optional one-way check valves.
In the installation the "BOTH" position should only be used to transition between Left and Right tanks so as to not go through the "OFF" position.
NOTE: This valve has been was used on a Experimental Category aircraft and it worked great. The valve should be installed by a A&P so that an IA can issue a 337 for use on a Standard Category T-6 and to get one-time field approval from your Local FAA office.
No instruction are included with this valve.
