We manufacture two tools sold with Aircraft Spruce and they are very handy for the restoration of sheetmetal aircraft.

Neat tool but how is it a two man job the first time to get one stuck rivet shank

Propper method of removing rivets is to drill the head only, leaving the shanks to be removed by other means.

To knock the shanks out of thin material it needs to be backed up with a bucking bar or simaliar device and hit with a punch. I don't know about you but I have never seen this done by one man. The other alternative is to drill them out but that only makes the hole bigger. My tool supports the structure on two sides reducing the possibility of bending or cracking. I have sold many of these to sheetmetal techs and not one has returned and everyone that uses it loves it.

Didn't mean to tick ya off man! :Hangman: In our shop its not uncommon for it to be a "one man band" at removing rivets, if you don't then you don't need to be there!
Where and how much do I send off for one.
