C-47 tail wheel tire

Tail wheel tire on our VC-47D needs to be replaced. The tire currently on it is an 8.50-6 but I have read the correct size is 9.00-6. Anyone know whice size is correct?

9:00x6 10 ply TT is the correct size from my Goodyear book.
