If you are considering donating these, I'm sure Planes of Fame in Chino would love to have them.

Dont worry Ill have plenty to donate to the museum once I finish digging through this stuff. We already have some B17 hardware set aside we found still wrapped in the long term storage bags from lockheed plant

Thanks WIX!

Part numbers ?
We have half of a 1200 lbs pallet of unidentified lockheed stuff that we suspect to be PV-2 parts or Electra

Do you have any storage cans for R-2800's sitting around you want to get rid of? We are rebuilding our A-26 and will have engines ready before the AC is ready for them to be installed. Also we plan on having a spare at some point and a can to store it would be nice.

I'd be interested in hearing about the B-17 hardware, since Chuckie is a Vega-built B-17G!

Cheers!

Its mostly the bolts and special airframe rivets for that plane. If you make a list of your hot part number's Ill watch out for them
I also have some AN 111-12 pulleys that have a lockheed tag on them perhaps someone knows what they are for ?

email it to me

Sheesh.....I left my parts manual in my truck..and I am away from it for now.....I am in need of the flap actuating motors for both engines...the counter weights for the ailerons....push rod for the rudders...Navigation lights and lenses...cowl flaps...any original interior parts, radios, equipment....If there is any way possible, could you get a photo of the items? I know others that are in search of Harpoon parts as well as myself....By the way, if you have any bomb-bay doors, set them aside and notify me like now! I will be on my way with a blank check!

Tom, called you last month on the Harpoon hardware....man there are so many individual items.....why don't I send you the parts manual and see what you can match up???

I will try to keep my list brief, when I can figure what parts are most important!!!

Keep me posted as to your open store dates...it might just be easier if I could bring in my parts book and see what you have...

Thanks a bunch!! Gary

no problem,
we have not sold any of your stuff from the early lockheed bins so you are ok........plus there is more we have in storage but have not ID'd yet. We still have about 700K lbs to pull, bin, and shelve...... We are barely doing 2500 lbs. a week..........so you can do the math on that one !
