This movie helped launch the careers of Timothy Hutton, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, and Sean Astin, among others. Brief synopsis: When the board of supervisors for an old and established military school decide to sell the school so the land can be turned into a condo development, the students seize the school and darebthe National Guard to storm the grounds. Therebisvsome good acting, but the script is a littlebweak. It definitely appeals to a 13 to 25 demographic. I loved it when I was younger, but age has a way of .......well, you know. I givebit three stars out of five.
