Does anyone know the history of GMC FM-2, N29B, cn 4955?
I photographed the airplane as a 4 tank sprayer in 1957 and 1958 in Phoenix and safford, AZ. The 1963 civil register lists the airplane as still in existence, and the FAA registration lists say that the aircraft was registered on 4/14/59 and cancelled in 8/25/71.
Apparently, it went to Columbia, CA, in the early 70's, and probably ended its days there.
Anyone else interested in these interesting planes?
