There is a T-33 on a stick at Wadsworth Airport near Akron. I can get a photo for you as soon as I get home.

Although I appreciate the offer of the photo, that is not what the locator is about. However, I would suggest that Scott would like to have a picture of it for the registry!

Just as an FYI, the map is right, but the World of Rubber is in Akron, not Alliance.

Also, I'm not sure how you want to do this, but the Crawford museum does not have their F2G at that location. I believe Bob Odegard has it at his facilities. As for the museum proper, they only have an F2G engine sitting in the basement. Just mentioning

Actually the F2g is at the Planes of Fame in Chino for now if I remember correctly.

DGA-3, DH-4, P-51K

Their website has a picture of the P-51. What other airframes (if any) do they have?

Okay,let's see if I have the correct idea of the locator. If you're asking for the correct location of the 178th TFG, OANG at Springfield, it is on State Route 343, about half-way between Routes 68 and 72. The A-7 and F-84 are pylon-mounted, the other two----an F-100 and T-33 are on the ground.

Also, at Lancaster----besides the A-26 we have a C-45, L-5, L-16 and a Gnat. The L-birds are hangared. Oh, and don't forget Tallichet's B-25, which is not technically "at" Lancaster.....he just hasn't moved it anywhere yet (for over 3 years)

You have the correct idea! Thanks! This is good information. I have left the entry as "Area" since I have not been able to pin point them using Google Earth (the image is poor in that area), but your description in invaluable. I have driven around in circles before looking for something only to leaving without success only to find the exact location on the internet at a later date. Bummer. Your info will help prevent an intrepid warbird hunter from wasting time.



Is the B-25 viewable at the Historical Aircraft Squadron? Or is it at another part of the airport?

Mike, the 25 is sitting across the ramp from our (HAS) hangar. And, by the way, the C-45 is in the yard on the south side of the hangar.

Mike, also...(this could get to be a habit), last I knew there was a UH-1 sitting at the WACO museum in Troy. I believe this is the same one that used to sit outside the VFW in Vandalia near the Dayton Airport.

no f -102 in sandusky ohio, i can sniff out a warbird!! a mig 17 is located at wakeman airport here in wakeman ohio though
