I'm lookin for some contact details of the Greek group called 'ENOSI FILON AEROPORIAS' (Aviation Enthusiasts Union) based at Tatoi AFB. As I understand it, they maintain the following aircraft:

1) Antonov An-2TP (SP-MXK)
2) Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina (5B-PBY)
3) Bucker Bu 131 Jingmann (N111A)
4) Bucker Do/Bu 133 Jungmeister (N133BJ)
5) Douglas A-26 Invader (N500MR)
6) Fieseler Fi 156 Storch (N111FS)
7) Polikarpov Po-2 (CSS-13) (SP-FCN)

Any help highly appreciated.

Kind regards

Nicolai Musante

I'm also looking for any details about the Hellenic AF museum at Dekelia/Tatoi AFB. I have searched the net, but to no avail.

Opening hours, directions etc.

Thanks

Sorry for the long wait..seems all the Greeks have left Athens, as you can see by the empty seats at the Olympic venues
As far as the Aviation Society goes I can't get much on them, except the aircraft are either owned of run by a media magnate, who is not very helpful. My friend is an AirForce officer and still gets no response!
The AF Museum is available to be viewed but you must get permission first from this guy. The museum is 20kms from the center of Athens.
Hope that is of some help

regards
Dave

Thanks Dave

I'll be a little short of time, don't think the snail-mail correspondence will make it back and forth. Have also sent the AF an e-mail but haven't heard anything yet.

Kind regards

Nicolai
