I went over this morning in good ole 242Julliet with Dan Dugan. Cameron Park is a very cool place. It sits in a kinda hole between two ridges. Left downwind to final is a cool ride. Try it sometime. Chuck Wahl met us there and showed us a great time. It was Soroptimists day. They put on a good spread. Planes and cool cars. They had 67 Vettes, and some 67 Vettes, and I think I saw a couple of 67 Vettes. I like 67 Vettes if you haven't noticed. Along with the 69 Z28's, 69 SS's and the 78 Silver aniversery Vettes and the Vette with the red stripe on the left front wheel well. I have only seen that car in Gran Turismo.

There was a lot of planes too. But the best ones were sitting in front of Chucks house.

We parked, and hung out at THE house. Bitchin pad! Especially when you can park your T's out front! Very cool. We hung out there next to the T28 and T6. I took a bunch of pictures with the 35mm, but Chuck loaned me his pimp daddy digital camera. These pictures are from that camera, so you guys don't have to wait.

Thanks to Chuck Wahl for having us over and showing a great time, and thanks to Dan Dugan, for one of the best flying days of my life. It was an awesome day!

Here is the T6 in its current state. The detail involved in this plane is spectacluar. I'm thinking that the last time one of these had existed, is off NAA's floor. The thing I didn't know, is about the tailwheel. It is covered in case the hook misses, the wire doesn't tear off the tailwheel. I never knew that. In fact, I don't think I've seen an SNJ/T6 with a covered tailwheel. This one is an original one, complete with dents.

Fantastic! Lots of good detail. Should be a real show winner when it is complete.
