Between these photos and those from the other post, looks like these are B-29s of the 501st BG (Diamond-Y) and/or the 502nd BG. (Diamond-H)

The PB4Y-2 is BuNo 59502 from VPB-109.

Great photos, thanks for posting 'em!

Great! These aircraft are all from the 315th Bombardment Wing and were taken either on their hardstands or in the technical area on Guam, summer 1945. Here is the info I have on this set of photos:

Beegazburd- 42-63615, 501st Bomb Group, 21st Squadron. This was the second combat B-29B assigned to the 315th Wing.

Fluffy Fuz III- Personal aircraft of 315th Wing Commander, Brigadier General Frank Armstrong.

Jusonemotime- 44-83907, 331st Bomb Group, 355th Squadron.

Lovely Leta- ? Still researching!

Diamond H, aircraft #27- 502nd Bomb Group, possibly 411th Squadron

Thanks again!
Scott

Dr. Gene Gillum, a 315th BW engine mechanic, took some color shots of B-29 nose art that can be found at:
