Sweet~Patootie was my fathers plane. My dad was Frederick W. Perkins. He was the flight engineer and top turret gunner. He was in England from Jan 44 thru Jun 44. He flew 30 missions. The 381st BG Hvy home site has pics of the nose art of its aircraft. My fathers plane shows my dad and the pilot shaking hands. Talk about surprised in seeing the pic on this site.
