Today I paid my first visit to the Science Museum store at Wroughton. A wonderful facility with very helpful staff.
Unfortunately the Trident, Comet and Gnat are in a hangar that cant be opened to the public (the doors are knackered) but two hangars were open.
Ahhh the Connie, in superb nick and yes the green car first on the right is a Edsel!

The Piccard Gondola, which, when suspended under a balloon, too Bertrand Piccard’s Grandfather Auguste to 51000 ft in 1932. Bertrand Piccard carried on the family tradition when he was part of the crew on the Breitling Orbiter.(6 generations of his family are balloonists).
