I know I may take a few shells for yet another OSH posting, but
I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank Zack and his wonderful
wife for opening up their home and yard for the WIX informal get
together from last friday evening.. THANK YOU ZACK!

A good time was had by all and a fair share of cold beverages and
plentiful table were deeply appreciated by the many us hot stragglers
that managed to make it over there. Location was much easier to
find than anticipated and your warm hospitality made us feel very
welcome. I'm not sure if we got a group shot as we were rather
taken in by the many conversations and I had to dash out to retrieve
the car so if I missed it, sorry.. :-)..

Anyway, thanks again to zack and his wonderful bride..
off to boston.. and looking forward to thunder....

henning

All the thanks goes to my wife, who made all the food and got things going long before my relatively late arrival after a long walk from Warbirds. She is a gem and I'm a lucky guy!

A big thanks to Dan K. for providing most of the chairs - thanks man! I wish I had more time to get to know everyone there. We're definitely on for next year as Jenn (my wife) has already volunteered to do it again. Thanks for coming Henning and hopefully we'll get to talk a bit more the next time 'round!

Zack

I don't think anybody took one. The conversations and food were the main concern of the night. I'm still so new to WIX that I hadn't even thought about the tradition of a group shot. My mug's so ugly the camera would have broke anyway :)

Many thanks Zach for the wonderful evening at your home! It was very kind of you and your wife to host a bunch of "new" Wixers at your home and even feed us well. I had a great night and really appreciate you&your wife's kindness.

All the best,

Ron

This is the type of thing that makes it all worth it too me to do this site. There is nothing better than making new aviation friends. Thanks Zach

Perhaps Scott will be bringing the camera to next years event?

I'd even bring you a special, comfy chair and one of those crowns from Burger King if you do! :P
