Hi all--

Went by the Ken Gamble property on Highway 6 north of Hamilton this past Saturday afternoon...and for the first time in approximately 30 years did not see the landmark Harvard Mk.II hulk (3270) in the side yard. Had heard that the Harvard was soon to move on as a project...anyone heard anything as to where she might be headed?

S.

Thanks for this piece of news Steve. I am hoping that someone here knows where.

Hello

Ken passed away a while back.
Having spent the last 17 yrs working along side him salvaging a/c, his family has asked me to continue his legacy/business.
Better known as Kenneth G Gamble Ltd "Barn Full Of Parts" , we are open by appointment only at 905-627-1276.
As for the Harvard Mk2 # 3270, I sold her to an American. He came all the way from FLA. with his trailer but ended up going home without it as his trailer was too small. Apparently he has lost interest and it's again up for sale rumoured price is 50,000.
As for us we continue to buy /sell a/c parts ranging from WW1 - present day both civilian and military.
Approx inventory: 45 basket cases ,300 wrecks and 150,000 parts.

We have no recorded inventory and no web site .
Pretty much we know what we have and can have a response to requests fairly quickly.
As for WW1 projects, we have none , however we have two Jn 4 Canuk props and one Lang prop from an early Curtis machine. Also some rigging manuals for the BRISTOL FIGHTER

Hi Fleet16, welcome to the board! I like your simplicity..no website, no recorded inventory,
no walk-ins..appointment only. Pick-up the phone or come see me by app.

Do you guys still have the Ultimate 10-100 prototype there?

The Ultimate is still here , however it was purchased by a guy in Ohio.
He sent a cheque , it passed and so far he has not come to get it . That was almost 2 yrs ago.

Does anyone have an idea or photos of what this guy has collected? Is this an operating junkyard or a collection being liquidated?

This discussion seems to be going somewhat circular. :?

Do they have T-6 parts? Can they send me photos if I need a specific part? Can they package and mail it to me?

I am not liquidating a collection.
We buy and sell old a/c and a/c parts.
Yes, we can ship items to customers if needed but at present do not send pics of items for sale.
I do have some 6 parts left ie: one gear leg , one brand new wheel & brake assy.
, 3 canadian exhaust pipes that run down the fuselage.
Had 7 sets of wings many tailsurfaces rudders but all sold last year

All inquiries : please call 416-727-5190 or 905-627-1276 evenings

8) When the aircraft was removed from the Gamble property it was trailered to the airstrip in Guelph Ontario. I have photos of it sitting at Guelph but alas, I have no way of posting them. I too had seen the aircraft for many years driving Hwy#6.

There were plans to restore the aircraft to flying condition with the bulk of the work being done in Florida after some very initial work in Guelph. I believe the flying plans have been scrapped and she will be retsored to static display standards. Don't know by whom or where the work will be done however.

Last saw the airframe last September, still at Guelph but I have not been abck there since then. I am on holidays in a couple of weeks and will try to get over to the strip and see what I can learn.
