T-28B Bu. 137692/N237JB destroyed in 1998?

Looking for info on this Trojan for the registry. The FAA has it deregistered as destroyed/ The are no NTSB entries so I'm assuming it didn't crash. Any ideas?

The plane crashed in Canada, 2 fatal.
