Thanks Guys,
Let us know what you think and if you'd like to see more on the site. We will be working to add more maint and air to air photos as we are able. Hope you all enjoy seeing some of the inner workings and what it takes to keep these in the air.

You've got a good looking site going there. It's a shame more organziations don't put some more work into their "web presence" (cripes, I sound like a marketing guy), improved communications between organizations could lead to some really cool stuff.

My suggestions, take them for what they're worth;

-Make the "contacts" page a bit easier to get to. I'm not going to want to spend all day hunting around for an e-mail what I can just go elsewhere. Your contact info isn't as hard to find as some other sites, but it would probably be better served on your main nav bar, maybe in place of the guestbook.

-Post some contact info for your staff if you've got it.

I also have strong moral objections to scrolling news bars, but that's just me. :P

It's simple, it loads fast, it gives me the info i need. It gets my highly valuable (which, when coupled with five bucks can get you a cup of coffee at starbucks) seal of approval.

A constructive comment:

The jet noise is way too annoying for me to open this at work. I would rather see a "click here for jet noise" button.

Nice website. Question, where did the T-2 come from?

Thanks Guys for the suggestions. We'll make some changes and hopefully have repeat visits to see what we've updated or aircraft we've added. I've already forwarded the suggestions on to the web guru's and we'll make the site user friendly.
The T2 came from Wiley Sanders in Alabama. They had the airplane restored and flew off the hours and then we bought it and brought it to Waukegan, Il. We've had it 2.5 years and have been flying it almost every weekend lately.
Thanks again and let us know what would make our site better for you Warbird guys. Feel free to e-mail me CSTAFFELDT@wi.rr.com with any questions until our contact e-mails are loaded onto the website.
Thanks Again
David

Great collection! I'll tell my dad to take my brother and my nephews to see it.
Will you be displaying any artifacts from NAS Glenview, since the Hangar One Foundation lost its display space at the mall? They had a restored TBF engine and some models, etc.

I don't think we currently have any plans to display artifacts from NAS Glenview. I'm not aware of anyone approaching us about that. We may be space limited as we are keeping all our airplanes airworthy and active.
It'd be a pleasure to have your family out. Give us a call or e-mail ahead of time so we can make arrangements to open the hangar up for them. We're not there every day, but usually I'm at the airport and can and will be glad to show the airplanes.
