Rob, Scott Thompson addressed this possibily on a post on the next page of this forum. Look for the topic "Book on B-17 Survivors"

So much has happened in the last 2-3 years alone, I'd wait another 2-3 years to see what happens. The future is bright for the B-17.

This is off topic, but does anyone know if Gary and the Air Pirates are still going to go fishing for those B-17s up north? The last search in '99 was unsuccessful, but they were pretty sure that they found the B-17G in some 700ft. of freshwater.
