Blue Skies, sad to hear but in my opinion going out at 100 is a pretty good age to hang up the spurs.
No one can say he didn't live a full life.

And of course the $1mil question, what will happen to the fighters?

P-51D 44-73420 - NL7722C
P-47D 42-29150 - N47DM
P-38L 44-26981 - N7723C
F6F-3 08825 - N4965V

Were there any other aircraft in the collection?

What a remarkable life well lived! RIP.
Driving a Ferrari in the Mille Miglia is very cool.

I'm not familiar with his aircraft, are they seen often?
At his age, I'd guess they would have been flown by others in recent years.

There's also a second Hellcat that was part of the assembly line restoration up in Idaho.

100 is an awesome run, but I'm still sad he didn't live to see the Hellcat that's about finished fly.

Jack didn't own a P51 anymore . This was sold to Andrew McKenna in Sept, 2013 after the death of Jack's pilot , Jeff Harris earlier that year from heart failure.
