I see on the Platinum Fighters Sales Facebook page they posted that the F8F Bearcat N68RW in Blue Angels markings had been sold... I was curious if anyone knows where it's heading to... Thanks in advance...

Awesome destination for the Bearcat! Much as I wish it were staying in the Midwest, Red Bull will showcase it a lot in public with the rest of their fleet and I'm sure European airshow fans will enjoy seeing it.

Red Bull have also just bought Bernie Ecclestone's collection of 69 historic Formula One racing cars as well for a reported £500m - while they're in this sort of mood I wonder if anything else is in the pipeline...
Looking forward to a P-38, Corsair and F8F formation display, maybe at Duxford?

This is an excellent addition to the Flying Bulls' fleet. I'm very excited about seeing another Bearcat flying in Europe!

Think this will be the fifth to have been in Europe over the last 40 years including the ex Thai AF aircraft Stephen Grey had in kit form at Duxford for a while, now with Tom Wood. Remember the first time I saw N700HL at Biggin Hill in the hands of Stefan Karwowski in 1982... wow!
