Good morning - I have tried several times over the past month or so to reach the folks at Maxwell AFB at the Air Force Historical Research Agency office but to no avail. Even the web page seems to disappeared. Does anyone know anything about this? anyone been in contact with the folks at Maxwell?
Thanks,
Tom P.

Yes I've been in contact. They previously answered within a day or two but recently that has gone up to 2 months or more. I'm not sure if it's staff shortages (likely) or weight of work but you should get an answer eventually.

I don't think that's accurate. I received a PDF of microfilm reel AC-21, which starts with 44-86394, from AFHRA in January.

Ditto for unit records. Keep plugging: as I say, they have been supremely busy and do reply.

Looks like they had changed their plans from a few years back. They had announced that the records were moving to NASM, but they apparently ended up setting up duplicates there instead.
