Released a few days ago, this beautifully laid out magazine boasts alot of new and interesting stuff. Link below

1. Nieuport 28 - Beautiful restoration of course. Nice to see a WWI bird join the collection. The cost of purchasing / operating a WWI replica or original has got to be substantially lower then a WWII fighter. I wonder if we're seeing the start of a moderately sized WWI fleet that AHM could operate for events, kind of like there own mini Rhinebeck Aerodrome setup?
2. Rex is going to AHM - Interesting Loan for sure! Cant wait to have that bird on display up in these parts. I believe the recently arrived SBD from Hawaii is also on loan from the Navy.
https://www.americanheritagemuseum.org/aircrafts/douglas-sbd-5-dauntless/3. L-4 Birddog - I noticed they hung the recently restored L-4 in the museum. Wonder if they've already stopped flying it, or they have it on some sort of easy to use winch setup?
4. FW-190 - I kept reading the line: "The aircraft will be moved and on display at the American Heritage Museum in 2023." Something tells me the move will be by truck. Doesn't sound (to me) like they are going to fly this bird.

And here I thought they were getting close to finishing "The Stars Look Down" and both fighters would go to Oshkosh 2023 for Judging.
5. Expansion? - With all of these new artifacts coming to the museum, I can't imagine they aren't starting to feel a little tight with space. I believe it was in last year's magazine they announced the acquisition of an original Mosquito fuselage and HE.111 from Europe, that is also in restoration to static at American Aero. I think we'll hear an announcement in 2023 about how there will be a plan to expand the AHM to better display the majority of the collection in one setting, including alot more of the aircraft (i.e. P-38, Spitfire, A-36, Corsair, Skyraider, etc.). But again this is just a guess.
Love to hear your thoughts.
