I saw a paint-stripped T-37 or A-37 fuselage being towed behind a pick-up on the I-10 westbound to the west of Tallahassee FL on Friday morning.
Anyone have any more info please?

It was a different "shade" of natural metal.
It has been suggested to me that it was on its way to Montana to act as a spares ship for Jim Smith's machine at Fortine.
Thanks anyway.

Spot of thread hijacking... in 1999 I visited the Valiant Air Command Museum at Space Coast Airport (and had a nice ride in a Stinson Junior!). Dismantled outside was what I thought may have been modified T-37 with NASA markings. I'm not positive that it was a T-37 and can't find anything listed under NASA operated airframes that fits the bill. Certainly wasn't the modified F-5 that the museum has on display now, nor does it feature in their list of airframes. Does anyone recall what it was please?

As per various editions of my USA Military Out of Service, this was OA-37B 70-1304, marked as "NASA 909". It was modified for film work I believe.
