Interesting half-and-half camo scheme on the ship at 6:35 - makes it look like a smaller vessel at first glance. Was this common in the Japanese Navy?

Wow - some of those strafing runs - wow they are LOW - I get a little puckered just watching. . .

Due to the high quality and sharpness of the images, my guess is that it was shot on color film. But I'm not an expert.
