I'm sure it has to do with the over-burdening of adds.

I successfully get in, maybe, 1 out of 3 attempts. A bit frustrating.

Sometimes I get to the site but can't get into forums. It just times out.
But the ads are always there.

Other times, I can get in for awhile, but it takes awhile for a thread to open.
So, really hit or miss.

I suppose that's why there haven't been many posts lately...

I wouldn't be surprised if large-scale scraping to feed large Language Models is a factor. Difficult and time-consuming to block.

I would pay to have no ads like a lot of podcasts have.

I've gone days without being able to access the site. Most of the time it just times-out. It seems to be worse in the last few weeks for some reason.
