Now all back together and nearly ready for Steve Hinton to perform the initial test flight in the next few weeks.

Will this one fly once it returns to Florida, or will it just be pushed into the hangar to collect dust with the rest of his collection?

I could see this A-26 hanging out in Oshkosh for awhile (next to his Mosquito) since it seems like he's run out of hangar space in FL. Or maybe with this one, he'll finally build another hangar with the ramp up to Act III?

Didn't have some nose art on it, Whistler's Mother or something like that?

The former markings I think were for a movie . This color scheme represents the unit it served in during the war. Unfortunately a picture of it during the war hasn’t been found to determine the real nose art .

Yes, this Invader carried the nose art Whistler's Mother when it was owned and operated by Challenge Publications.

Kermit has said that he has an idea for nose art for it since they haven't come up with any in-service pics, but that his hope is that there will be something found that they can make it 100% historical.

Nose Art when it was in the Weeks Air Museum at Tamiami (Miami) Executive Airport.
Damaged in Hurrican Andrew, 1992
(Prior to building of Fantasy of Flight in Polk City.) The Miami location closed in 2001.
Think this photo is from mid 90s.
