I don't recall the thread, but I recall from my time trying to update a '94 survivors list that a USAF base (Lackland, IIRC) had a '94 but kept the nose when they disposed of the airframe. I also recall the new owner was a small museum in San Antonio without the wherewithal to build a new nose.
Anyone recall this or am I having delusions?
