The mid Atlantic Air museum has put out an appeal on Go Fund Me to continue operations for the year

The Covid crisis has Pennsylvania continuing in some form of lockdown for an unspecified time and the MAAM has had to now cancel WWII weekend for the year

The WWII weekend event is really the single sustaining event for the museum and without it things aren't looking good

For anyone who isn't aware of the MAAM, the video explains much about the museum.

I can say, from having been a member, there is no other organization like it.

Most Warbird or vintage aircraft groups that I know of are one deep pockets individual or are a group that has a membership so costly as to be prohibitive to many

The Maam isn't like that, and now it needs our help.

please do what you can, I'm planning on donating the cost of my ticket to WWII weekend which would be a nice gesture and if you can do more please do

Tom Bowers

I thought the WWII weekend event was rescheduled ?

"At this time it appears that JULY 31st, AUGUST 1 and 2 are dates that will work for everyone. However, this remains ONLY a proposal since the State must relax its restriction on large gatherings."

Phil the most recent announcement says they had to cancel all together. Too much uncertainty around what will and will not be allowed in PA due to Covid precautions.

I donated what I'd usually spend on my trip to and from the show. Looking forward to 2021.
