Any ideas what happened with this one? Did it make it into the civilian market?

Note the Timm was described as "blue and silver", although it could have been repainted between 1947 and 1951.

Can't recall which airshow pilot said something wise like "always roll towards the crowd line so if things go awry during the second half an anxious pull will take you away from them". Can't say I've ever actually noticed which way pilots are rolling at shows, but then again I've never seen a low level slow roll along the crowd line go wrong.
