In the past few days I've been getting ads that show up between every couple of posts within a discussion thread. They appear to be AdChoices banners. Are any of you folks seeing these or have I been spammed? Another possibility is it's a feature of my Google Chrome.
If this is something Scott has employed to generate revenue, I've got not no complaint with it. Whatever i takes to pay the bills is cool with me. When I clic on them I get a Google info page. Maybe I turned off a filter in Google I need to turn back on? Anywho...just checking! :D

I am seeing them as well and I am not using Chrome. I just assumed, given Scott's current situation, that this was an attempt to bring in some additional revenue.

Happens here too. No complaint if Scott can get some income from his considerable labor.

The internet sucks... Deleted cookies and still there, I guess I have to reboot. Strangely, the forum asked me to enter my password again just before this happened.

These appear to be google ads that are being self generated by the existing code that places the banner at the top. This is not something I added and I'm looking into it today.

Alright. Did some research and figured out that it is indeed a google setting that "somehow" was turned on in the last update. I changed the setting to minimize how many ads are placed. I will be messing with it over the next few days to see what happens. It did however increase the revenue over the last two days by nearly 15% (from $4.50/day to almost $5/day) so I'm not going to turn it off just yet.

It's also supposed to have some affect on ads for mobile users. Let me know if this is bothersome to the users using mobile platforms to view WIX.

Thanks.

I haven't seen a single ad using Firefox, its built in adblocker and deleting history on each shutdown. The cookies are left alone because if they get deleted, FF forgets my logins.
