Me thinks they got the concept from the turbofish of VWoC.....

But still...have a look and comment...just too funny.

Before any comments are raised...I have seen 900hp Chevette with v8's and we have all seen how crazy the unlimited's can go.....

Then they aren't WW1 planes! If you want some Pitts to go at it, be my guest!

In the meantime, WW1 designs built with modern practices (e.g. a new-build radial with modern tolerances will put out noticeably more hp than their notional rating) are highly entertaining.

Loved that plane! Looked absolutely normal until I noticed that the prop was feathered. Then Trenton got in it and sounded this "Ahh-ooooo-ga" horn before starting up. Never saw it again after that first year.
