Hi all,

I'm looking for C-119 flying Boxcar images, both in service and warbird images.
I'm working on the C-119 Registry as well as the C-119 section for Forgotten props.

you can post images in this thread or send them to:

Thanks.

Scott,
The shots at the below link are mostly of N8093. If there are any you'd like to use that you can't pull from Flickr, let me know and I'll email them to you.

I was gonna post a few of that one, but I see you got it covered. :?

Do you know if Hagerstown is trying to get an A-10? Or any Republic airplanes?

A little excess is a good thing right? :D

It's certainly the museum's intent to get an A-10 but, in the meantime, it's good that they're being put to active use. Not directly related, but the MD ANG has been an enthusiastic participant in the Museum's annual Wings & Wheels event, typically sending a pair of planes to park amongst the other Fairchilds.

I know. I live about a mile from the airport, and every once in a while three or four birds will revisit their birth nest and do two or three circles. Their sound is very distinctive, and I always run outside to watch them. :supz:

Scott,

I have one taken on one of my missions in Korea back in the 50's … I believe it was at K-55 (Osan) and a little different in that I took it from the rear with the doors open … I'll see if I can find it.

By the way, the one in Dayton has the modified tail to catch the capsule on it's way to earth .

Also I have the one at Dayton digitized for embroidery along with one from a model

I love the C-119's. Are there any still flying?
