In the process of researching YF-5 Freedom Fighter/59-4988 I stumbled across Aviation Warehouse in Adelanto, CA. They seem to supply aviation related props for the movie/TV business. Their storage yard is packed with aircraft, including one YF-5. Check it out on google maps, thought there was some interesting stuff visible.

Some ground level images of the aircraft there can be found on Freemans' Abandoned Airfield website. The link is attached.

Also the adjacent airfield of El Mirage was originally Auxiliary Field No.3 under the command of Victorville AAF (later George AFB).

A few years back, I had posted some picture of this amazing place, when Mark Thompson allowed myself and the late "Mustang Bob" to roam around at will. I had just bought a PV-2, and was trying to determine if the center section could be removed, without cutting. Mark has the one and only Howard Super Harpoon there, that he has done this operation to. All kinds of neat stuff there....Bob and I spent all day there, and still didn't see all.
