Pen Turbo, Inc., on the field at Cape May, has stockpiled these Caribou for possible conversion to turbo power. They are marketing the turbo conversion and says there is a demand for it, although it's unknown how strong. They still have a lot of unconverted airframes.

Okay, enough for Cape May's Caribous(?) Has any one checked further North up at Lakehurst Naval Air Station. I believe those are rocket sled tracks to the West of center of the field. Look's like they still have blimp
or dirigible hangers being maintained on the East side. I wonder on which dirigible pad the Hindenburg crashed & burned?

Sounds like the'll have lots of radials and props available. What type were run on Caribou?

R-2000 and the prop has its own oil supply for feathering
