Some time ago I read an advertisement indicating that the Chapman and Goodall Warbird Directory was going to be released on CD. Did this ever happen? Can't seem to find it on the net.

Hey Kevin... yes, they did release it on CD, but I think they all sold out. There was an outfit in New Zealand selling them, but I made the same mistake of not buying it when I had the chance!

Cheers,
Richard

I have a copy, and it was the 4th edition of the Warbird Directory, available as a book or Book plus CD ROM, by Geoff Goodall, copyright 2003. Not NZ, but Australia (that other funny little island down under) try the e-mail warbirdsmediaco AT iprimus.com.au to contact the publisher.

I have a copy of WD4 on CD and the book. I rarely touch the book. Mr. Goodall has told me that WD5 will be released on CD only (whenever that happens).

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
