have the plane wreck recovery show? Darrel Ward of ICE Road Truckers was going to be doing that but his plane crashed and he's no longer with us. Very sad seemed like a great guy. And sounds like it would be a good tv show. Does anyone know?

At this point in time, with the show lead gone, I doubt anybody within or outside of the channel knows for sure....

All of us here on WIX should send emails (I already have) showing our support/interest in such a show.

I'd assume the show would be about wrecked GA aircraft, not warbird.

Anything new know different?

If you are referring to the History Channel, then it is probably better off that it will not get done now. If it was it would most likely have been the typical HC fair as of late; being oversensationalized, inaccurate, and containing faux controversy to keep a certain demographic mindset interested.

Not every provider has it, but if you can upgrade to get it, the Smithsonian Channel has some very good aviation shows as of recent. They are very well done! Check out the following links as some have samples of the shows. (you can also purchase episodes via amazon, apple etc..)

They just had on Alaska Aircrash Investigations which followed NTSB investigators.

My favorite was Dangerous Flights, I wish they'd bring this one back:

The Air Warriors episode on the Mustang featured some recent footage, including a whole sequence on a recent P-51 Altitude record flight to FL410 out of the Leeward Air Ranch! I hadn't heard anything about this. Definitely worth watching.
