I got this from Germany but I understand that it was originally sourced from a US collector.

I have translated the top two characters as Kinsei - then 50 model.

Underneath I can see Mark 34 , Navy anchor and the date of Showa 17 8 - which is Aug 42.

I cannot see any mention in textbooks of a Kinsei 50 34.

Can anyone help with confirmation of any of the Kanji or its history ?

A very helpful chap has had his wife translate some more and the lower LHS Kanji refers to Spindle/shaft no 34.

The top line if Kinsei/Venus Model 50 C and then three unknown characters.

Some more helpful chaps confirm it as a Kinsei engineers toolbox data plate.
