Australia now has its first FW-190 warbird project.

Delivered to southern NSW, it will be reassembled and gotten flying soon it is hoped.

As they say on forums, cant be real without photo proof right fellas so anyone who thinks it doesnt exist - here the pics - https://www.facebook.com/hazairptyltd/p ... 6129822497

The info Phildanielmigaceliberator3 fails to include which I'm sure folks would like to know:
- this is the former Don Hansen ASh-82-powered aircraft from Louisiana
- it will be based at Albury, NSW
- it is the aircraft mentioned in the News section of the latest issue of Classic Wings as moving to Australia
- Hazair Pty Ltd, an aerial agriculture and aircraft maintenance business, is handling the reassembly and test flying (although I now realise this is in the Facebook post, sorry!)

A very cool import for the Australian scene! I hope the new owner has a great time with this machine.
