Was there both days, the following are from both, mixed together. Best weather in several years, not too hot or cold, and best of all not a chance for rain. Saw the Brietling Team for the first time (no pictures of them though, was busy when they were up). Attendance was down-don't know if it was due to the admission price increase, Thunderbirds as opposed to Blue Angels (I'm convinced the Angels draw better). The only thing that disappointed me was no F-22. On with the pictures:

Was there early, so tried some sunrise shots:

On Monday morning I was in the right place, at the right time, with my camera. Was able to be in the photo plane as Lone Star Flight Museum's B-17 transited from Ellington back to Galveston. I had always want to have a chance to try to get shots like this and am very happy how they came out:

I have more shots of various planes, any requests, post them and I'll put up what I've got.

I personally request posting as many more pics as you can stand to post. Fantastic stuff, 67N20, THANK YOU! And congrats on "getting that plum assignment" on Monday, glad they had the good sense to give it to someone who can handle a camera!

I miss WOH every year any more due to working or volunteering at museums elsewhere, so pics and tales of this particular event mean an especial lot to me.

Great shots.
Shiny Mustang.
Neat to see a 262 in flight.
And I do wished they'd paint over the extra nose windows on Thunderbird with water based paint when doing air-to-air shots.

I didn't get any photos of the Tora planes-I had seen them before and trying to get shots during their performance hasn't worked out what with all the smoke and pyro.

As requested, here are more shots from WOH. Not terribly happy with the quality of the flying shots, but they are better than nothing.

No. It flew a solo demo, then the flight with the Corsair.

67N20, thanks for all the great shots. I miss going every year before moving to Tucson. This is second best to attending in person.

Except for a few of the Thunderbirds, what I posted is just about it.
