Apparently there were plans to fly the Sabre restored in the colors of The Minutemen Colorado ANG 1950's demo team to the National Aviation Heritage Invitational event at the Reno National air Races this week. But now I have heard that it is not coming.

I believe that this one was in Montana and had done engine runs a couple of years or so back, but I never heard that it had flown or been certified. Not sure what if any the current issues may be but was wondering if anyone had any recent background on it. It looks beautiful in its polished aluminum and red paint scheme and it would be something to see in person I have no doubt.

The post this morning regarding the former "Golden Apple" F-86A Sabre getting its airworthiness certificate yesterday got me to thinking about this one again.
