at the LSFM. Does anyone have an update on the status of this bird? IIRC it suffered some damage in the Hurricane.

I won't dive in on this one as N68740 is (or was) very much Doug Ratchford's baby and I am sure he will give an update.

Dave and David, there's not much to report on N68740.
LSFM is still making slow but steady progress on cleaning up hangar two where ol' 740 is parked. The USAF recently took back the badly storm-battered TB-58 Hustler which gives more room near the PBY. I just haven't been active there for a while with other things going on in life.
With a mild winter down here, the rides program at Lone Star is back in action.

The Canso and Privateer have been purchased and will be moving to Pima Air & Space museum for display. More info in the thread below.
