I recieved this photo http://www.warbird-central.com/forum/photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=21

A P-51 with what appears to be a 5 bladed prop and rocket pods on her.

Anyone have anything on this, and why it would have a 5 bladed prop?

Thanks!

no 5-bladed prop here - it's just the effect of the turning propeller vs. shutter speed of the camera that results a distorted view of the normal 4-bladed HS 24D50-87 unit.

Cordially

Thanks for the info, I was thinking that same thing, as I was posting it at mustangsmustangs.net too.

Was not sure, but yeah , the picture is distorted and it appears as if it has an addition to the prop.

Anyone have any information on the bird herself?

Thanks again!
