Welcome back, Rob. A book on Tallichet and MARC is long overdue.

Welcome back Col!

Any pics you can share with us on some of the treasures from David's collection?

None of the gems for the book of course?

Cheers Rob hoping all is well.

Michel

Had lunch with a gentleman in Atlanta who was visited by Mr Tallichet when he was in the process of delivering the A-1H to the Smithsonian. The story of the 4 A-1's being returned from Thailand is amazing and fairly well known, but their sitting out for so long in CA and their eventual disposition would make for some interesting reading.

Lon, I keep getting a webpage can't be found

hmm... :? Seems to work fine for me.

This is what it is
Quote:
P51 Squadron Chino 1969

All the P-51s in AeroSport that were fully assembled were rolled out for the TV cameras. Tallichet in N3333E made a pass across there.
This was part of a news story about Tallichet starting Yesterday's Air Force.
